VU23068 , At Locating Unlimited we always strive to deliver the most relevant and comprehensive Utility Damage Prevention training possible. We started the journey to seek approval to deliver this Nationally Recognised Unit of Competency in November 2019, it certainly has been a turbulent journey to finally receive approval to deliver this training.

They say, “A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.” I am happy to say that we remained optimistic throughout the journey and thank those who offered support along the way.

That said, we are ecstatic to finally announce dates for this training, we thank C.R. Kennedy for their continued support and allowing their venues to be used in each State. The training is in two parts, an on-line component that opens on the 7th of August and the face-to-face practical component on the dates listed above. Both sections, the on-line material and the face-to-face practical MUST be successfully completed for a Statement of Attainment to be issued.

I am happy to announce that we have secured the services of Daniel Beech to deliver the face -to-face training.

Daniel is a Subsurface Consultant who works with locating, utility, and construction companies to help them optimise the utilisation of their asset location equipment. With his extensive knowledge of the GPR and EML locating segments he can assist with workflow, processing, data interpretation, staff training, and onsite project management. Daniel has supported companies throughout the APAC region, including clients in the mining, civil, and private markets. He is the only factory trained IDS Georadar technician in the region as well as holding several qualifications in electronics, communications, I.T., and business.
